Does Quay make prescription sunglasses?
Yes. Quay prescription lenses are available in polycarbonate, 1.67, and 1.74 high index options, and can be customized with polarized, gradient, fade, and fashion tints. Every prescription lens comes standard with AR coating, anti-scratch, and anti-smudge treatments. Online ordering covers single-vision prescriptions; progressive lenses are available in store only.
What do I need to order prescription glasses from Quay?
You need a valid, unexpired glasses prescription with all required values plus your pupillary distance (PD). Contact-lens prescriptions are not accepted.
What lens types does Quay offer for prescriptions?
Quay offers polycarbonate lenses (lightweight and impact resistant, ideal for mild-to-moderate prescriptions up to +/- 4.00) and high-index lenses (lighter and thinner, ideal for all prescriptions and essential for medium-to-high prescriptions above +4.00 or below -4.00), with polarized and blue light add-ons available.
How do I find my pupillary distance (PD)?
Your PD is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils, and it is required to order. Request it from your optometrist or measure it using an online PD tool.
Does Quay sell ready-made readers?
No. Quay.com does not sell ready-made readers, but you can order custom single-vision prescription lenses by picking your frame and lens.
Can Quay put lenses in my own frames?
No. Quay sells Quay optical frames and complete prescription glasses only; it does not fit lenses into third-party frames.
How long do Quay prescription glasses take to arrive?
Quay prescription and custom-made glasses arrive within about 3 weeks of placing your order. Because they are custom-made, allow up to 2 weeks before receiving a shipping confirmation email.
Can I return Quay prescription glasses?

Are scratched prescription lenses covered?
Yes. Quay will replace prescription lenses that are scratched on arrival if you contact Customer Service within 30 days of receipt.
What is Quay's prescription remake policy?
