Are prescription sunglasses covered by insurance?

When you’ve found the perfect pair of QUAYRx sunglasses, insurance is a potential payment option in many cases. Most vision insurance plans offer full or partial coverage for prescription sunglasses. In many cases, you can also use your FSA or HSA funds to purchase prescription sunglasses. Because some plans may have coverage discrepancies between prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, check with your benefits administrator for your policy’s full details.
